August is the OG of the flock. She has become the protector, and can be found carefully patrolling the perimeter of her yard. She loves spending free time with her best friend Dixie (pictured).

Marjorie is a sweetie pie. Her cluck sounds more like an oink, and she has been known to jump on my back and refuse to get down. Sometimes she lets me kiss her on the cheek.

My gentle Della is the timid one of the bunch. Part swan and part seagull, she moves with grace and loves to fly high. She can be found in our evergreen trees as she hops from one branch to another.

Sadly, we lost Betty and Rebekah to illness this year. Betty was the class clown and Rebekah the fashion queen, feathers adorning her legs.
